Description: We approached Halemaumau Crater outside of the TFR to document ash pluming into the air, generated by a rock fall right before noon. Pu'u O'o continues to smolder with decreased gas emittance with no visual signs of eruptive capability. Weather and clouds challenged our viewing capabilities and spent only a few minutes below Fissure 20 and the new lava ocean entry.
